Workshop on Climate and Winter Timber Harvest in Northern Forests

The Northeast Regional Climate Center at Cornell University partnered with the USDA's Northeast and Midwest Climate Hubs to host a virtual workshop for natural resource professionals on the topic of climate and winter timber harvest in northern forests. In this workshop, we explored the winter timber harvest season, what current research is telling us, and what tools may be available to help monitor weather and climate conditions. We concluded with in-depth discussions of current research and application needs in this area.
